There are a variety of option events if you are in town and interested.
Importantly, I cannot guarantee any dates or times but the options are listed to the right. I will try to provide your preference.
Tickets are available using the RSVP form to register your interest. The sooner you are able to confirm your RSVP, the greater likelihood of there being a tour for you, especially for the popular Scavi tours, which are space limited.

Saint Peter
A free tour of St. Peter's Basilica, led by a seminarian expert.
Choose: Mon AM, Tue AM, or Tue PM
Tour of the Basilica of
St. Paul Outside the Wall
A free tour of the Basilica, led by a seminarian expert.
Choose: Tue or Wed PM
Scavi Tour
A tour of the ancient ruins, excavated beneath St. Peter's Basilica. May be led by a seminarian or another expert. The tomb of Saint Peter is the highlight of this tour.
Cost: 14 Euro per person (discounted for this occasion)
Choose: Tue ~9:30am or Wed ~1pm
Optional Events
Wednesday Papal Audience
If the Pope is in town, the opportunity to be seated at one of his Wednesday Audiences. Free, but a ticket is required.
Start Time: 10am, but you should arrive no later than 9am to pass security and find a seat.

Prayer Vigil
Wednesday, 30 September
A prayer vigil for all family and friends (you!) to pray for my brother seminarians and I, the evening before our ordination.
The sacrament of Confession is expected to be available.
This Church, Chiesa Nuova, is where Saint Philip Neri is entombed.
There is construction outside the front, but follow the signs for the entrance on the East side (right side when facing the front).

THE ORDINATION
The main event.
I and 17 of my classmates anticipate being ordained to the transitional diaconate at St. Peter's Basilica during a celebration of the Holy Mass celebrated according to the Roman Rite. The celebrant will be the bishop of one of the men of my class.
The Mass is a festive and solemn occasion. More information can be found here.

Thursday, October 1
A reception follows at the seminary, the Pontifical North American College. Seminarians in clerical attire will be along the pathway to guide you to the seminary.
The reception includes drinks and light food.

An optional tour, free to you.
The Basilica of John Lateran is the Cathedral of Rome, the mother church of Rome and of the World.
